Singapore Sling

Tonight was our last night in Singapore and we moved to a new hostel where I managed to land myself in my own room with a double bed, on-suite and TV - and there was me imagining I'd be staying in mud huts! Its unfortunately only for one night though as we set off early on a 4 hour bus journey to Melaka in Malaysia. This evening we thought we'd make the most of our last night in Singapore and headed off to the famous Raffles Hotel (very posh and expensive!) for a Singapore Sling (famous cocktail) which apparently has to be done. But in true backpacker style we only had enough singapore dollars left to share one between all of us and we filled up on complementary peanuts for the rest of the evening, but at least I can say I've done it!
